I drew with watercolor pencils and paintings this activity that consisted in drawing islands with things that are important in your life and the following key that showed what each symbol was. This map shows different things about me,  my family and my experiences. It uses pictures to describe me instead of using words. I enjoyed doing this project because I had to think in symbols that could describe a little bit about me. And said before I used watercolor pencils which took lots of time to dry, so sometimes I forgot it was still fresh and had to repeat the mickey islands several times and fix it with paper towels. I wouldnt change anything in my map since I think those symbols represent me very well. The tittle for my project was Memorial Remar, Memorial because it contained my memories and Remar becuase I planted a tree with my cousin whose name is Rene, so Re stands for his name and Mar for my name. In the map key you can find what each symbol represents in the picture.

The drawing includes shapes and other elements that are included there. I used a variety of colors and designs. The purpose and objective of this project was to understand the different elements there are in art. Ms. Lopez who was our teacher gave us some instructions that we had to follow, like painting 6 shapes with black colors, etc. This project was very creative and very colorful. I have this painting on my room because is one of my favorites. I used black marker and color pencils. Who could say you could use such simple materials to do something this nice.
